Warranty
• All new merchandise sold by Adams Auto Performance is only subject to manufacturer's warranty and conditions, if any, and is subject to submission to the manufacturer for inspection and approval for repair, or replacement of merchandise. This excludes, light bulbs and electrical parts (unless otherwise stated). No warranty whatsoever will be valid if the defect/damage was caused by customer's abuse, negligence, or mishandling, which will be determined solely by Adams Auto Performance.• There are no warranty on USED merchandise. These items are sold as is. if an item arrives damaged, Adams Auto Performance will assist the customer in filing a claim with the shipping company. All claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery date. Claims made after that time will not be honored. there will be NO exceptions. Shipping/Freight company's return/claim policies superceeds AAP's policy. In other words, if your claim is denied by the freight company, there isn't much else we can do for you.
• Customer will also be responsible for all shipping costs: the return to AAP, the shipping to the manufacturer and the shipping back to the customer.
• No warranty on light bulbs and electrical components and are sold AS IS and may not be returned.
• No warranty whatsoever will be valid if the defect was caused by customer's abuse, negligence, or mishandling.
• No labor or inconvenience claim may be included in the warranty claims.
• Adams Auto Performance highly recommends that you always keep your stock parts for as long as you have your vehicle. Therefore, AAP is not responsible if your car is inoperable due to sending us the part for warranty claim.
•Used parts are sold as is, where is. common sense will tell you: NOTHING USED IS EVER PERFECT. If you are expecting perfect parts, Buy them Brand new. Conditions on used parts will vary. Used parts are expected to have scratches or dings. USED body parts will have to be retouched and repainted. Rare JDM parts that are out of production are hard enough to find in large quantities we offer.
Condition of Used Parts
•We will not accept returns because buyer doesnt like condition of parts. If you have any questions, please address them before hand and ask for pics of the parts you have purchased prior to them being sent.
Returns or Exchanges
• Return for exchange will be allowed only within 7 Calendar days from receipt of merchandise.
• All authorized return merchandise must be unused and in it's original saleable packaging, All packaging, documentation, warranty cards, instructions and hardware MUST also be returned.
• Your Invoice and/or Packing Slip must also be returned.
• No return or exchange on merchandise that shows signs of having been installed, modified, or painted.
• No return or exchange on Light Bulbs, Electrical Items, Used merchandise, Used JDM items or Special Order items.
• No return or exchange on Wheels and Tires that were shipped mounted and balanced.
• All Returns are subject to a 10% Re-stocking fee.
• No refund on Shipping charges.
Shipping
•Shipping is usually done within 24hrs of the order being recieved. In cases where there is an unexpected delay, AAPPwill notify the customer via email with an approximate ETA. All ETA's are exactly that, estimated and are by no means a promise or guarantee of delivery at a specific time.
• All shipments within New Zealand are sent using NZ Couriers. Items within the North Island can be expected within 48 hours of shipping. Items in the South Island, 72 hours. Items small enough to fit in "track packs" can be expected anywhere in the country with 48 hours of shipping.
• For shipments going out of New Zealand please e-mail sales@aapimports.co.nz for a qupte. Please note that it will be a quote only and in some cases an exact price cannot be known until your item is shipped.
Damaged Shipments
• Inspect your parcel carefully before signing for package. Note any irregularities or damage on the freight receipt. If the package is in good condition, open it immediately and check for hidden damages.
• KEEP all original packaging, including packing materials and original shipping carton.
• DO NOT return damaged items without prior approval.
Shortages
• If shortages are found, please inspect box for split, crack or tears. Notify AAP immediately.
Carbon Fiber Products
All Carbon/Kevlar products are hand crafted and as unique as a finger print, no two items will be exactly identical. Small imperfections such as wavy weaves, small bubbles and resin blemishes will be inevitable. Such minor imperfections are race industry standard and considered acceptable. Therefore it is NOT considered to be defective.
Dry Carbon/Kevlar products require professional installation. Minor adjustments might be necessary. This is part of the normal body work and installation process. Manufacturers have made all efforts to produce their aftermarket products to fit the original factory vehicles as closely as possible. However, some occasional prepping may be necessary for an ideal fit. The buyer needs to perform these steps to his/her satisfaction before installation. If the buyer wishes to paint the products, he or she must pre-fit the parts to the vehicle before painting to ensure proper fit. There will be absolutely no returns on painted products.
Canceling an Order
• Providing the order has not shipped, canceling an order with Adams Auto Performance is plain and simple. Simply call us on (09) 8283211 or e-mail, sales@aapimports.co.nz. In the event that your item has already been shipped you may send it back for exchange or credit. Parts imported on indent order (you have paid a deposit and we have ordered the part in specifically for you) do not qualify for any such exchange.
