Description
The WRX Hybrid blow-off valve is a 'bolt-on' fit for late-model Subaru WRX and STi models (see below for specific applications).
It doesn't require any adaptors, extras or modifications - just remove the factory BOV and bolt it on!
The WRX Hybrid is a design developed and proven by GFB. It can be configured in three venting modes using supplied parts.
1. Hybrid mode - 50% of the air is plumbed back, like a factory BOV, and 50% of the air is vented. This provides a great sound - but one that won't attract too much attention.
2. Vent-to-atmosphere mode - All of the air is vented to atmosphere for maximum noise. This configuration works sucessfully on the WRX without any drivability problems.
3. Full plumb back mode - Like the factory BOV, but with improved throttle response and the ability to hold higher boost levels.
Suits:MY01-07 WRX (MY02-07 in the U.S.), NOT including the new body shape.
MY02-08 STi, which DOES include the new body shape.
